We praise the Lord for a fruitful ministry in 2019. Here are some of the many things the Lord did in Honduras, through SCORE International working alongside the local churches. Moreover we are excited to see what all God is going to do in 2020 and beyond.
~SCORE hosted some U.S. Teams- Construction, Sports, Training in Biblical Counseling for Church Leaders, and more.
~SCORE hosted many One Day Camps in both private and public schools. The gospel is clearly presented each time. The one day camps have four sessions. Two are games and two are lessons on Biblical principles and moral values. We also teach awareness concerning dangers on the internet, bullying, sexting, and facing our daily giants in life, by placing our trust in the Lord.
~SCORE taught youth groups in multiple churches around the country about what the Bible teaches concerning sexual purity. Each teen event was four to five hours long. The church leaders and parents also have the opportunity to pray with their teens and encourage them to dedicate their hearts, minds, and body to the Lord and to their future spouse in purity.
~ SCORE was able to complete the OIC (Overseas Instruction in Counseling ) Modules 3 and 4 in San Pedro Sula. The 1st module of OIC began in Tegucigalpa in November 2019.
~NEW Ministry: Firefighter Ministry at the local La Lima Fire Station. Every Tuesday morning, a Bible study takes place for an hour. Now, Hannah has also come alongside to teach the two secretary ladies in the office as well. We have hosted a few Movie nights as well featuring movies such as Courageous and Fireproof.
~ Hannah taught many English classes in our home with individual students and a small group.
~We were both involved in individual discipleships during the week in our home with new believers. We continue to disciple these believers on a weekly basis.
~Neighborhood Kid’s Club continues to grow each week. It is every Thursday afternoon and is a time of worship, Bible Lesson, Scripture Memory, Craft, and Snack.
~Hannah continues to sing in our church a few times a month and continues to also help with nursery duty in our church.
~Our faithful prayer and financial supporters and churches in the US raised a little over $11,000 for a higher clearance ministry vehicle. We praise the Lord for this vehicle and it has been wonderful to have!
~Because we live 10 minutes from the international airport, we were able to host 39 vehicles (over the 2019 year) on our property. These vehicles belong to different mission organizations (Fellow missionaries) that fly out to the states, and are trying to find a safe place to park their vehicles, while they are home on short trips or furloughs.
