Family and Friends,
We just finished the Christmas season and we hope you had a joyous one with your families. We enjoyed the Christmas holiday with Hannah’s family in Winston-Salem and are now enjoying bringing in the new year in Florida with David’s family.
Over the past month, our hearts have been going through many emotions. These emotions bring excitement, fear of the unknown, sadness for leaving family and friends, and the sense of a new adventure! We are thrilled to be on this journey and cannot wait to be in Honduras next week, but we are still human and have our struggles. We have definitely shed some tears, contemplated our decisions, but overall knew without a doubt that God was calling us to do this and he was completely faithful to do it! We have seen God’s hand of faithfulness in so many ways the past 10 years of training/Bible college, but more so in these 6 months of support raising. God has raised these funds so we are able to go! It’s because of people just like YOU who have stepped up to help send us to Honduras. We want to extend our thanks to you, our supporters. Thank you for believing in what God has called us to do. Thank you for encouraging us every step of the way. We are so blessed and thankful to have such a strong support team here in the States rooting us on as we depart the country. You are the hands and feet of Jesus by helping sending us. We are eternally grateful, and so are the countless lives that will be touched by the generosity and sacrifices you have made to help send us. We hope many of you will come visit us in the jungles of Honduras in the future. 🙂

Enjoying our time in Florida before we depart for Honduras.
Points of Praise:
~ We continue to praise the Lord for a healthy baby boy! Hannah had her last baby appointment in Winston-Salem last week and everything looks great! She passed her glucose test with flying colors and is ready to travel. Baby boy kicks and moves around A LOT. He is already keeping mommy on her toes. 😉 She will get a new doctor once we arrive in Honduras. She will continue her monthly and eventually weekly visits until time for baby boy to come. Please continue to pray for a safe and healthy pregnancy as moving is very stressful. (25 weeks this week)
~ We praise the Lord for our continued support! God continues to raise funds, even though our time of traveling deputation has been completed. We are in awe of his provision.
~ We praise the Lord for the sweet time of fellowship we have enjoyed with our family and friends for the past few months in various places.
~ Please pray for a safe flight to Honduras on Tuesday, January 5th. Our flight departs at 6:30 a.m. from Miami, Florida.
~ Pray for us as we transition to life in Honduras- to the food, climate, language, and living with a host family for language school.
~ Pray for our time in language school (3 months) to be fruitful and that we will learn lots (mostly Hannah). Pray we will be able to build relationships with the people in the city as we will continue to come in contact with them each time we fly into La Ceiba for supplies/food. Pray for opportunities to share Christ, even while we are in language school.
Our Upcoming Schedule
~ Tuesday, January 5th- Fly to Honduras- We will arrive in San Pedro Sula and then drive to La Ceiba (about a 3 hour drive) where we will be living until baby boy arrives. La Ceiba is where we will attend language school and live with a host family. La Ceiba is also the main city where we will fly into to pick up supplies/food once we are living in the jungle.
~ April 11th- Our sweet baby is due, but we all know he will come when he decides to! 🙂 After he is born and Hannah has recovered, we will fly to Rus Rus, Honduras (our mission base) where we will call our home.
~ April 25th- May 7th- Construction Team in Rus Rus to prepare our home. Pray for our team as they prepare to come and minister.
After the construction team leaves, we are hoping to be moved into our new home as soon as we are able. We are praying for a smooth transition into the jungle.
We love and appreciate all of you! As always, let us know how we can pray for you too. We love to hear from you! 🙂
